Bronx River High School

Overview written by the school: To create an exceptional school, we offer programs and services that support students inside and outside the classroom. Inside of the classroom, we have 14 Blue Engine Teaching Assistants from top universities in our 9th & 10th grade math and ELA classes. In 11th and 12th grade students also take a year long College and Career Prep class that walks them through the college process. All students belong to an Advisory, which meets several times a week for all 4 years. 9th graders also meet weekly with a Peer Mentor. We have a school counselor in every grade to further support students' social emotional needs. Outside of the classroom, students participate in college visits, attendance incentive trips, after school clubs, and sports.
