Forsyth Satellite Academy

Overview written by the school: Forsyth Satellite High School serves entering ninth grade students who are behind their peers by two or more years. We are a small, nurturing, student-centered school where all students are provided the support they need to graduate high school and pursue their post-secondary goals. At Forsyth, all students are part of a Family Group, our advisory structure that supports students in developing and reaching academic, social-emotional and post-secondary goals. Our culturally responsive curriculum is designed to engage students in meaningful project-based learning. We implement Restorative Justice practices and are committed to infusing trauma-informed, healing-centered, anti-racist practices in all the work we do.
