Gregorio Luperon High School for Science and Mathematics

Overview written by the school: Gregorio Luperon High School for Science and Mathematics opened in 1994 as the first school in Washington Heights to serve newly arrived immigrant Latino students on 181st Street, and the new building on 165th Street since 2008. GLHS provides the avenue that enables students to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through language acquisition.
