Harvey Milk High School

Overview written by the school: Harvey Milk High School is a small school founded on the principles of inclusivity inspired by Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to public office in the United States. We welcome all students throughout the five boroughs. Our small classes allow students to work collaboratively in a rigorous setting while also creating opportunities for one on one support from teachers. At Harvey Milk High School, we celebrate all of our students' cultural backgrounds while providing a safe space for students to learn more about themselves. Our small school provides multiple supports for students' social and emotional growth as we work towards developing 21st century citizens.
