High School of World Cultures

Overview written by the school: Our motto is: "Children First-No Excuses-High Standards." The English as a New Language, Dual Language, and CTE Culinary Arts instructional programs enrich students' life skills. We build on students' rich identities and cultural beliefs to prepare them to be successful and fluent in English. The Dual Language strand offers monolingual-English, multilingual-English, and Spanish-proficient students the opportunity to become bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish. The CTE program allows students the chance to gain skills-based experience and knowledge in the realm of culinary arts.
