High School for Youth and Community Development at Erasmus

Overview written by the school: We are a college pathway school designed to prepare all students to thrive in a four-year college and beyond. We offer a wide variety of Advanced Placement courses and have created an early college infrastructure that provides students the opportunity to graduate high school with a full year of college credits. Students can participate in community service and internship opportunities as well as PSAL sports teams, including our championship winning football team. YCD students benefit from our partnerships with organizations like Kaplan SAT Preparation, Counseling in Schools, StoryCorps U, Educational Video Foundation, Medgar Evers College, Brooklyn College, Bottom Line, Center for Supportive Schools, ScriptEd, and TRIO at Brooklyn College.
