Demanding and engaging learning: Our school offers in-depth study of academic subjects, field research and the sharing of meaningful work with public audiences, all of which results in students achieving at higher academic levels than they ever thought possible. Our school's rich and varied curriculum meets college entrance requirements and provides students with a broad range of post secondary choices. Learning extends outside of the classroom and includes opportunities with our partner organizations such as Integral Yoga, New York Live Arts, Hudson River Community Sailing, Highline, Opening Act and Camba's Learn to Work Program.
Performance Based Assessment Tasks: As a member of the New York Performance Standards Consortium, students complete graduation-level written tasks and oral presentations known as PBATs (performance based assessment tasks) and must take and pass the NYS English Language Arts Regents exam to meet the assessment requirements for graduation.
