Lower Manhattan Arts Academy

Overview written by the school: LoMA is a small, multicultural college preparatory arts themed school that focuses on academic and artistic development and excellence. We believe that all students are intrinsically curious and capable of achieving at high levels. We support each student's intellectual, emotional, and social growth with the goal of success in a four-year college or career. These expectations require that all students take advanced math and science, AP classes and a sequence of arts classes. To support our students' success at meeting these higher standards, we maintain an intimate, nurturing community with compassionate adults that set and help students reach these high expectations.
