School for Excellence

Overview written by the school: School for Excellence, a small school located in the historic Morris Campus building, prides itself on promoting college, career and civic readiness. With an all-inclusive approach geared towards individually supporting our young SCHOLARS, we prioritize reading and writing across the curriculum and engaging students in developing critical thinking skills for their future. We believe in experiential learning and student voice with partnerships including our on-campus fully functioning farm, Bronx Connect Youth Program, 2Train Robotics team, Triad Young Men's Leadership Program and The Leadership Program culinary and arts activities. We also engage our students in hands-on learning through trips and field experiences in science and art.
