Women's Academy of Excellence

Overview written by the school: The Women's Academy of Excellence is an all-girls public high school, serving grades 9-12. Our mission is to create a community of lifelong learners, to nurture the intellectual curiosity and creativity of the scholars, and to empower them as young women. The school community seeks to cultivate a dynamic, participatory learning environment that enables scholars to achieve academic success on many levels, specifically in the fields of math, science, and civic responsibility. The scholars are exposed to a challenging curriculum that supports them in becoming college and career ready.
