Health Opportunities High School

Overview written by the school: Health Opportunities High School (HOP) provides students with exposure to a challenging curriculum that prepares students to pursue a wide range of health-related professions. A partnership with CUNY Hostos Community College as well as The New Jewish Home (GCD) allows students to earn industry accreditation in many different health fields such as Certified Nursing Assistant; Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician. HOP also participates in the Summer Youth Program where students are placed at the school to work during the summer as well as throughout the school year. We also offer Full-time college counseling, in collaboration with NYU, ensures that students receive individualized support throughout their college application process.
